Obsessed with toilets

AHHH! As I'm checking my FaceBook account I hear "splash, splash" from the bathroom. Oh, No!!! I run in to find my 11 month old, Jake, splashing in the toilet (again). If this isn't bad enough, he has a wad of wet TP in his hands, and he's dipping and eating! YUCK!!!

I love the rain

We had a busy morning, but enjoyed the rest of the day with our library books, listening to the rain. I love it!

Jesus Christ Website

I found this as a link on the http://www.lds.org/ website. www.jesuschrist.lds.org Really neat. Maybe you have already seen it- but it was new to me. Amazing artwork, too.

Good to see Yoda again

Since we've been back we've just ate, slept, played, slept, watched tv, read books and relaxed. Thanks to our friends who took care of Yoda and the house while we were gone!!

Coming home

This trip was so much fun. We did so much, saw so many loved ones, and wore ourselves out completely. By the time we got to the airport to fly home- we were all very ready to be home relaxing. Thank you, everyone, for such an amazing time! We hope to see you again, soon.

Best Friends

I was so blessed on this trip to get together with best friends throughout my lifetime. There were just a few I wasn't able to see. These girls were all a best friend of mine at one point in my life. It was so wonderful to see them and enjoy them for a couple hours. I love you, girls!! Thanks for meeting up with us!

Lunch at Gram's House

Gram is the best cook. We always have a fabulous meal when we visit her. We also enjoyed her amazing garden. Miss you, Gram!
After lunch we dropped the kids with my mom, kissed Hailey goodbye and ran off to the movies with Heidi and Warren. We went to see Harry Potter 6. Didn't love the beginning or the end, but the middle was really well done. The movies will never compare to the books, but it was still a fun outing- and without kids!!

Scheels

Thanks for helping with the baby, Grandmother!

The new Legends area in Sparks is really fun. We spent 2 hours just in the Scheels sports store. The Ferris Wheel was the most favorite. Cade had a chance to go to Scheels the day before with Mimi on a date. Everyone else was either watching Anne of Green Gables or taking naps. So he got a sneak preview. He felt pretty important. I enjoyed the fudge shop!

Michael the Marine

trying on the gear

Look at the excitement in his face
Cade loves camo
Jake even got to try something on

tasting an MRE
"Wow"

pure joy!
salute
watching out the window for Michael to come back in with his guns

Cade has an obsession with "army guys" right now. Heidi was really sweet to set up a meeting with her good friend, Michael, who is a marine. Cade was SO excited. It was really fun to get a first rate private demo of what they wear, what they carry in their backpack and even a look at the unloaded guns. The grandpas and dads were just as thrilled, I think. I am so grateful for Michael and all the brave men and women who fight for our country. Thank you, Michael. You are the coolest ever!
