Rain boots and saggy tights

I've been smiling all day at this gal's sense of style. Love her!!

I just can't get enough

That little double chin!!

Marvelous Mav

So proud of our little buddy receiving the marvelous maverick award today in school.

If you're happy and you know it...

Then your face will surely show it!

"Keep Hallie Busy" Day

Hallie has been quite the handful this week. This new wound up, crazy town, sassy attitude needs to be nipped - pronto!! So we are trying out a new idea. Keep her busy- wear her out for nap time so she will sleep!!

So far we've made dough for sugar cookies (cutting and frosting to come!), washed the cookie cutters in the kitchen sink, made paper turkey decorations during piano lessons, got the box of baby toys and dance mats out of the attic, and washed baby toys and bath toys in the bathroom sink. I hope I can sync the girls naps today- it's not even noon and I'm ready for a snooze!!

Uncle Bran in town

It was such a treat for us to have Brandon in town this week. He had a training for his new job out here, and we were lucky enough to have him over 2 of the evenings he was here. The kids all acted like he was a celebrity. Fun times. :)

November snow

This is the first time I've seen snow in November since living in Texas. The kids are ecstatic. I should've given the kids time to play and let them be late for school- it will be melted off by the time they get home. Next time!

"You scared me!!"

This is H's famous line when we find her in trouble. This time she had glitter lipgloss covering her entire face and mid way up both her arms. Classic. 😊 Love our little diva!!!

Fun birthday party

Hallie had a ball at her friends' animal birthday party. It was a mini petting zoo at the house. We saw chinchillas, lizards, snakes, birds, ferrets, and baby bunnies. Such a cool party idea!! H loved holding the bunny- not too sure about the snake!!

Soccer season

🎶Oklahoma!🎶

It was so exciting for all of us watching Cass as the lead, "Laurie", in her school musical. She did an amazing job. We are so proud of her! After her final performance she had a fun night out with her friends to celebrate. It feels me with joy to see my kids develop and share their talents.
