Gram

The purpose for my quick and abrupt trip to Reno, was to go visit Gram. She has just been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor (the size of a baseball), and I really wanted to go spend some time with her. Hospice has been called in, so we're not sure how much time we have left. It was so wonderful to be with her. It was fun to see her in her new place all decorated with some neat old pictures from her home. I'm glad she is somewhere safe and cared for (and it's a beautiful facililty!). Hallie got to meet her for the first time, and Jake enjoyed getting further aquainted. She looked so pretty in her jewelry and everything. Even though she's not feeling well, she's still trying to be at her best. I love that!
